I'm going to be an auntie again come February!  Pretty darn tooten excited!

England is only EIGHT months away...

God is good...no God is glorious, astonishing and merciful

Currently Watching
Anne of Green Gables - The Sequel
By Megan Follows, Colleen Dewhurst, Wendy Hiller, Frank Converse, Jonathan Crombie
see related

Anne of Green Gables and other random thoughts...

Have ever seen the movies?  I'm watching the second one right now...so sweet and innocent.  While watching the first one, I just laughed and laughed when Gilbert Blythe would just gaze lovingly at Anne and she would glance at him and he'd WINK...how incredibly romantic, I know!!! :)  She would then turn around mortified, "that he would wink at a stranger like that." (Oh my, how I long for my Gilbert to come along and wink at me!!!  I know, I'm such a hopeless romantic....hahahaha...)

What memories these movies bring to me, though.  We watched these all the time growing up...along with Mary Poppins, Oklahoma, Fifal (sp?)  Goes West, and just about every black and white movie/musical out there!!  AHHHH, the good ol' days.  The dog days of summer are here again!  I am sooo happy that I can just sit around watching old movies and reading new books (thanks for shopping with me Deanna!!!!)  AHHHH, why must I go back to school??? (oh, that's right, so that I can graduate and get a real job...)

*sigh* well, if you're looking for me, I'll be sitting on the tacky yellow couch, or burning up sitting in the sun on the front porch trying to read but continually falling asleep....what a life, I know!  (oh, or at SMB from 11:30-6:00...)

Because HE lives

I went to the 7:30 service at my grandma's church today and they sang lots of old hymns, (I felt like being with some familia today) one in particular stood out. Because he lives. It says that because HE lives, I can face tomorrow, and life is worth living and that there is calm assurance and this child (we) can face uncertain days. All this because He lives.

I can not imagine my life without Jesus. I would have no reason to get up, no reason to pursue my education and no reason to go to work. Everything would be meaningless and I would constantly be in a state of worry and searching.

But, praise be to God, my Saviour bled, died, and rose again!! To tear down walls and build up HIS people and because of Him, my simple little life has meaning and can be filled with peace, love, joy and forgiveness!!

Happy Easter, friends!

Life soundtrack

I saw this on a friend's facebook and thought I'd steal it....hehehe.

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button

Opening credit:
Lento (Julietta Venegas) it means "slow"

Waking up:
Say Amen (Mercy Me) good song.

First Day of School:
Recuerdos de la Alhambra (Jem Moore)  I got this at a Renessiance festival...purely instrumental...seems a little depressing for a first day of school

Falling in Love:
Amica Donna Mia (Eros Romazzotti) It's Italian...but it's totally a love song...fits nice...

Fight Song:
Love you Out Loud (Rascal Flatts) HAHAHA....

Breaking Up:
Could I have this Kiss Forever (Enrique Iglesias/Whitney Housten)  no comment...

Prom:
Unforgetful You   (I never went to prom...)

Life:
Santa Soifia (Cheyanne)  well, ok...

Mental Breakdown:
Contigo es Asi (Edgar Lira) means "It's like that with You."  I guess it depends on who I'm with...haha

Driving:
Beethoven's Symphony no.9

Flashback:
Lighthouse (Lifehouse)

Wedding:
We Three Kings/Carol of the Bells (Kenny G.) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Birth Of Child:
Vivali: Concerto for Guitar Largo (Jem Moore)  WONDERFUL!!!

Final Battle:
Bailamos (Enrique Iglesias)  "Let's Dance."  hahaha

Death Scene:
Try to Save your Soul (Alejandro Sanz)  hmmmmm, that's creepy!

Funeral Song:
Como se cura una Herida (Jaci Velasquez) "How do you heal a wound"  interesting

End Credit:
Here for you (Mercy Me)
